Few acetates couldn`t be grown as crystals
- Cobalt(II) acetate - hydrolyzes during few days, solution becomes thicker to pink-red dough precipitate of cobalt hydroxide and hydroxycabronate
- Magnesium acetate - solutions becomes thicker to syrup and never crystallizes.
