Description
Inorganic compound, salt of transitional metal chromium and inorganic sulfuric acid. From water solutions crystallizes as octadecahydrate.
Influence of temperature
The color of solution depends on the temperature - hot solution is green, cold is violet.
Can produce adducts with sulfuric acid.
Notes
In most cases, solution becomes a viscous syrup which doesn't produce any crystals, even with addition of ethanol.
